Monday, December 28, 2009

Hello, I will tell you about my Monday. I went up at about 06.05, when I woke up. After that I did many good things during the whole day. In the evening I talked to a couple of friends. Well, that was about it. I didn't go out and I haven't done that for days. But I will during the Tuesday. Don't worry, everything's very good here now.

Early morning here

Hello, this morning I woke up at 03.30 or something like that. I got up at 04.05. Since then, that was more than four hours ago, I have done many, many good things here in order to get order in my life. I'm very happy about what I did. I only slept for 03.25 (I went to bed at 00.05) so today I will be very tired. But it will work out anyway.

Sunday, December 27, 2009

Hello, I will tell you some about what I did yesterday. I woke up at 07.00 and I got up at 08.00 and then I sat by the computer most of the time. I was on Wikipedia and then I talked with a friend of mine. I also read in a book about the history of Germany. It's written by Mary Fulbrook and she's Professor of German History at University College London in the UK. I can recommend A Concise History of Germany, it's very easy to read. Especially since I read it in Swedish. I went to bed at 22.30.

Week 53 starts today

Hello, I want you to enjoy this week extra. It's week 53 now and that doesn't happen too often. We have week 53 about 3.40‰ of our lives. Maybe that's why many people celebrate with fireworks every week 53. Here you have some more statistics.

It's week 53 one week out of about 293.958 weeks.
It's week 53 in 1.2425 days per year.
It's week 53 once in an about 5.6338 years.
It's week 53 in almost 4 minutes and 54 seconds per day.

I will start to enjoy now. As I told you, it's not that often. We have to cherish it.

Italian democracy

Hello, I'm very worried about what is happening in Italy right now. I have read today that some politicians there want to censor web sites and hinder people from gathering. Makes me think of another country I'm worried about right now. It's a little bit like in Germany after the Reichstag fire in February 1933 and in the US after the attacks in September 2001, they act in a state of panic. I know that in the German case it was all planned by the architects of the Third Reich, but President von Hindenburg didn't know about that when he signed the new laws and therefore it was panic. I'm sure that Irany, I mean Italy, can do better than that. Do not censor any web sites and do not abolish the people's right to express what they feel! Berludinejad is very dangerous for that country.

Thursday, December 10, 2009

Hello, yesterday morning I woke up early in the morning, at 05.20. At 05.40 I got up and then I started doing things. It didn't happen much yesterday. My mother talked a lot to me and after that I watched Barack Obama speak in the Oslo City Hall. So what did he say? I made a few notes. He said that there has always been wars and that the USA went to war in Europe to save us from the Third Reich. After Hiroshima and Nagasaki we have learned that the world would not survive another WW. He also said that he was standing where he was standing thanks to the work of Dr. King. I still think that he wasn't the right choice for the Nobel Peace Prize but the Norwegians succeeded in chocking the conservatives of the Bible Belt when the woke up on October 9 and at least that was funny. After that nothing special happened. I watched the Nobel Banquet on TV.

Today I will go to my sister

Hello, I think that today will be a great day. I will go to my sister. This morning I woke up at 05.20. Not good since I went to bed at 00.00 last night. After 30 minutes in bed this morning I got up. Since then I have had a good time. I will continue like that.

On the history of Finland

Like I have told you before, on Monday evening I went listening to a man talking about the history of Finland between 1808 and 1950. I will now write down some of the most important things. Not about the history of Finland but what was new for me and what was interesting. When I was there I wrote down more or less everything he said.

We have had 33 wars with Russia and 36 wars with Denmark. I don't like that they always make war with us without any reason! He said that when the new border was going to be negociated, in 1809, there were two main options. It was Kemi River and Kalix River. Since one of the Swedish negoitiators was sick, Alexander I himself said it was going to be the river inbetween, Torne River. Alexander also bribed the families in Finland by knighting them in order to get their support. In 1808 Finland had 180 noble families and in 1812 they were 300. Swedish currency was in paralell use until 1840. Many young noblemen worked in the Russian army and Mannerheim was one of those. During the Crimean War the French and the British attacked Finland a lot. Nicholas II didn't pay much attention to what the Finnish thought and women got suffrage in Finland in 1906 and with that they were among the first in the world. Hitler concluded that the Soviet army was very weak because of their problems and heavy losses against Finland in the Winter War 1939-1940. Maybe therefore he thought that he could easily conquer the Soviet Union. He also said that Mannerheim stopped his forces outside of Leningrad and that Finland helped the Soviet Union by kicking the Germans out of Finland in the Lapland War in 1944-1945 and therefore Stalin could send more troops to Poland on his way to Berlin. After the WWII Finnish people hid a lot of weapons cause they wanted to be prepared in case of another war. Some interesting questions were raised. Could Finland have regained their prewar borders if they had stopped by the old borders in the Continuation War? Could Finland have avoided to collaborate with Germany? Why was Finland luckily left outside the Iron Curtain? He also said that in 1945, the Soviet Union was so strong, they could have gone all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, if they would have wanted to.

My plans for today

I hope I will be able to leave at at least 13.30. Hopefully I will leave before that. Until that I have to do many important things. It will be a very good Wednesday, December 9. I want to leave because I want to take a long walk and I want to do some important things outside my home. I hope I will be able to do that.

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

Hello, yesterday was a Tuesday. I woke up at 04.30 and I got up at 04.55. After that I sat by the computer until 08.40. After that I cut my hair and then I continued doing different things. At 16.25 I went out and I came home at 17.35. While I was out I was listening to one of my favourite radio programs and I was also thinking a lot about politics. It was very good. In the evening I talked to a friend, we had a very good and constructive conversation. I went to sleep at 23.00.

This morning

Hello, this morning I woke up at 04.30. I got up at 05.10. Not very good since I went to sleep at 23.00 yesterday. I will probably go to bed very early tonight. I have great plans for this day. I will do many good things today.

Monday, December 7, 2009

Hello, on that day, it was yesterday, I did many different things. I got up at 04.30 and I did important things until 12.30. Then I made some planning and after that I was lazy. At about 16.00 I went out and I came home again at 16.40 after leaving some books at the library close to where I live. At 18.20 I came to the library again and until 19.25 I listened to a man who talked about the history of Finland between 1808 and 1950. It was interesting and I wrote down more or less everything he said. I returned home and at home I chatted with a couple of friends. I went to bed at 22.20.

One more day

Saturday, November 28, 2009

Hello, I will now tell you about what I did on November 28. So I woke up in Oslo, Norway. I was at my friends' place there. I woke up early, about 04.00 in the morning. Later one of my friends went to work and I fell asleep again and I think I slept between 08.00 and 09.30. Later my other friend there got up and we had breakfast. At 12.10 we went to town with the metro. We came to Majorstuen station and from there we went to a shop of secondhand books in Thereses Gate. They didn't have what I needed. I wanted to buy Å være ung er for jævlig by Christiane F. It hasn't been printet in Bokmål since 1982. In Sweden the book is famous and it's easy to find it in Swedish. Poor Norway. I don't think it even exists in English. Poor many countries. It's a German book and in German it's called Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo. So now you know that. After Thereses Gate we went to another of those shops but it didn't even exist. Then we went to a third one, in Universitetsgata. But the book just doesn't exist. We went to the bookstore Norli, also that in Universitetsgata. After that, we went buying food and then we returned home. We didn't do nothing for a while and then the one who had been working came home and then they cooked and then a guy we know came and we had dinner with him and we talked for hours. A little bit after midnight he went home to his place and we went to bed. Barack Obama is soon coming to Oslo to recieve the Nobel Peace Prize. They aren't too happy about in Norway since they have to spend too much money on security. They say that he only got the prize since Thorbjørn Jagland wants to hang out with Barack Obama. Some people try to earn extra money thanks to Obama, I saw a fast food add with a so called Obama meal on it. I don't think that there were any Ahtisaari meal last year or any Gobat meal in 1902. Mmm, Gobat meal... In Norway many people like a band from Drammen called Donkeyboy and especially their song Ambitions. When Katy Perry sings I Kissed a Girl on radio people immidiately turn up the volume.

Sunday, December 6, 2009

Hello, now I will tell some about what I did during the Sunday. I woke up many times and the last time was around 07.30 and then I got up. After that nothing special happened until 10.30. At that time I met a friend on Internet and we chatted for about one hour. While we did so, I listened to Burt Bacharach songs. After that I wrote some. At 14.20 I started to prepare myself for going out. I went out 80 minutes later and came home at 16.40, after one hour. I bought two pens, a salve and some milk. Then I came home and I did nothing and after that I ate risotto with small shrimps, pieces of onion and saffron. Not long after that I prepared myself for the night and I went to bed early, at 20.25.

Early Monday morning

Hello, today it seems to be very dark outside. It's five degrees Celsius. I have many plans for this day. I hope I will be able to do everything. I slept between 20.25 and 04.30 this night. I'm happy that I could sleep for eight hours. I haven't done that for weeks. It feels like this day will be great.

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

I woke up early, but at least I got six hours of sleep. I got up at 04.50 and so the day began. After that I did different things until 15.55. I went out to buy some things in a mall close to where I live and I came back at 17.00. After that I continued doing things and in the evening I talked with some friends. I went to bed at about 22.20.

A cold morning

Hello, it's cold today. We have about five degrees Celsius below zero. I went to bed at 22.20 and I woke up at 04.35. At 04.50 I got up. A new day full of adventures has begun.

Friday, November 27, 2009

Hello, I will now write about what I did five days ago. It was last Friday and on the day I went to Oslo, Norway. I woke up at 04.30 and I got up at 05.05. Until 10.25 it was just like any other day. Then I started to put everything I wanted to bring with me in a heap. I always do so. I have a list and I just put everthing in one place. Then I took a shower and after that I put all my things in two backpacks. I ate some bread and I left for the train. At 14.07 I came with the train to Laxå. Only a few minutes later I entered a bus which would take me to Degerfors, where Ralf Edström is born. I had to wait on the bus for a few minutes until it left. All people on the bus had come with the same train as I. A girl had forgotten her purse on the train and talked to the driver. He made a phone call in which he said that a girl of German language had forgotten her purse with money and everything on the train. I was sorry for her but at the same time I think it was strange that she could do it. She had no children with her. She was only together with a friend. I always carefully check that I have everything when I leave a train. Laxå is a very beautiful place with nice houses. Before I had only passed it. At 14.18 the driver started the bus and started to drive very fast. We were going to Degerfors, where Ralf Edström is born, in only 24 minutes and the road wasn't to wide. Earlier that day I had seen on a map that Degerfors, where Ralf Edström is born, was far away from Laxå. I know now that it's about 34 kilometers between those two places. According to ViaMichelin it takes 44 minutes to drive there. We did it in 26 minutes. Yes, it was crazy. At 14.27 we passed a car which wasn't even going slowly. At 14.30 two Roe Deers crossed the road about 300 meters and 200 meters ahead of us. They did it at the same place but we came closer in the time between. The driver said "Now let's see if there are three of those crossing the road today". While driving he was also speaking on his cellphone. That's not forbidden in Sweden but I don't think it's too good to do anyway. At 14.34 we got in trouble as a truck showed up in front of us. After that we were only one second behind it for the rest of the time. If we had been ten seconds behind it we would have arrived nine seconds later than what we did. In Degerfors, where Ralf Edström is born, some people ran to the train. I didn't run because I knew exactly what the time was. I came on two minutes before it started to move at 14.48. After only a few minutes it stopped and it didn't move for four minutes. Not good since according to schedule we would only have eight minutes between the two trains in Karlstad. I ate some bread as we were standing there waiting for another train to use the track. I left that train at 15.30 and started to run with many others. The Oslo train was far away on the same track. After a while I stopped running since I understood I would not be too late. In Karlstad it started to get dark. The new train departed at 15.34 and it was full with people and it was so until Arvika. After Arvika it was almost empty. At 16.45 I called my friend AM in Stockholm. We were talking in Italian. Shortly after that we crossed the border. A few minutes later a man asked me if I was Italian. I told him I was Swedish but that I had studied Italian. He said that he would like to learn Italian and that the only problem was that it was so difficult. I told him it wasn't and after that I taught him many things until we arrived in the Norwegian capital at 18.31. His name was J and J said he was going to take a course in Tuscany next summer. We were the last to leave the train. My friend was waiting for me on the platform and we ran to a bus. Then we were on the bus for about ten minutes and after that we walked for three minutes and then we were home and at home another friend was waiting for us. They cooked and we had dinner. It was chicken in a Thai sauce and we also had rice. After that we watched TV and we discussed the future of the world. My conclusion was that we are facing war, famine and chaos. I always have the same conclusion. I don't know at what hour we went to bed, but at least it wasn't very late.

Tuesday, December 1, 2009

Hello, I woke up early in the morning, it was about 04.45. At 05.00 I got up and after that I did many different things until the afternoon. I went for a walk between 14.30 and 15.15 and after that I also did different things until the evening and then I talked with a couple of friends. The most important of everything I did was to put everything where it was supposed to be after my trip to Norway during the weekend. I went to sleep shortly before 22.30. I almost always fall asleep right away.

A little about different things

Hello, this night I at least slept for six hours. I'm very happy with that. I woke up for the first time at 01.30 but I succeeded to fall asleep again. I went to sleep at about 22.30 yesterday. I woke up at 04.35 and I got up at 04.50. Today I will try to write a lot.

Pure evilness

On Sunday, June 22, 1941, that was 25,000 days ago today, Adolf Hitler attacked the Soviet Union and during the following years his different types of troops would commit more crimes against humanity than anyone else ever had done before in history. It was evil and it was wrong. The Soviet Union lost at least 12,000,000 civilians until they could kick the Nazis out. No wonder Russia still today is so paranoid.

Rosa Parks

Today we remember that Rosa Parks decided to take the bus. She did so on Thursday, December 1, 1955 and it took place in Montgomery, Alabama. A true heroine, no doubt about that.

I'm home again

Hello, I came home from Norway at about 17.35 yesterday. It was very nice in Norway. I would like to return there many times. Now I have to start with my normal life again. I will try to write about my adventures in Norway.
